This survey company sends out targeted surveys maybe once a month to me. It may be more or less, depending on your profile and demographics. They pay $5.00 by check or PayPal and have always been prompt.
They look for people from all walks of life to give an honest opinion of everyday products and new products.
The catch is that you cannot sign up at their website but have to find their ad banner that pops up online in variously changing locations.
They have a very strict privacy policy and expect us to uphold it by having us sign a legal agreement with every survey taken. We are asked to promise not tell anyone outside our home about the products we survey.
Sometimes they will send products to your home, free of charge, asking for an honest appraisal after it's used.

I don't have anything else to add to the Pinecone post. I did hear they lowered their payout to $3.00 but mine has always been $5.00.
My monthly earnings are slowly growing. I'm trying to focus on writing for my blogs instead of for others so that income is actually less for now. They say to give a blog a year or more to start turning a profit so I'm trying to be patient.
